FAQ

Is it really $0?
Historically the RASHP 2 Value BCBS plan (Monroe County Teachers), the RIT BCBS plan, and the UR BCBS plans have covered nutrition counseling under preventive care with no copay. If you work for an institution not listed please reach out, I will be happy to check your coverage for you.

Do I need a doctor's referral?
Not all plans require one but it can be helpful to have on file as part of your medical record. You can use the form linked below or your provider can use their own. I am happy to reach out to your provider for you if that feels easier. Referrals should be faxed to Elle @ 866.877.2844

Are appointments virtual or in person?
Both options are available. In person appointments are held at:

95 Allens Creek Rd Rochester, NY 14618

How many visits are covered?
This depends on your insurance plan. The plans listed above have historically given unlimited visits with medical necessity under the affordable care act preventative care benefits.
